Google lidera buscas nos EUA com 50,7% do mercado em maio

IDG NOW - O Google liderou o mercado de buscas norte-americano, com 50,7% de participação no mês de maio deste ano. O Yahoo! ficou na segunda posição, com 26,4%, seguido pela Microsoft, que respondeu por 10,3% das pesquisas na web. Os dados são da empresa de pesquisas comScore.

A participação do Google cresceu em relação ao mês de abril, quando a empresa respondia por 49,7% das buscas no país. Já o Yahoo teve uma pequena queda em relação aos 26,8% que detinha no mês anterior.

A Microsoft se manteve na terceira colocação, sem alteração na sua fatia de mercado, que foi de 10,3% em maio, assim como em abril.

No quarto lugar, apareceu a Ask Network, com 5% das buscas, e no quinto a Time Warner Network, com 4,6%.

Ao todo, os norte-americanos fizeram 7,6 bilhões de buscas em maio, um crescimento de 11% sobre maio do ano passado.
