Google aposta em links patrocinados também no celular

O modelo de links patrocinados, que sustenta o modelo de negócios do Google na internet e representa 98% de sua receita, será levado ao mundo da telefonia celular.

Segundo o diretor geral do Google no Brasil, Alexandre Hohagen, a empresa já testou esse modelo com sucesso no Japão, com a operadora KDDI. No caso das buscas feitas no celular, a receita com a venda de links patrocinados é dividida com as operadoras. Tal como na internet, a cada clique feito por um usuário, o anunciante paga alguns centavos.

Além disso, no caso de lojas e prestadores de serviços, é possível incluir no resultado das buscas um link para estabelecer uma chamada de voz do celular para o referido estabelecimento comercial ou escritório.

Para cada chamada realizada por conta de uma busca, o anunciante pagaria um preço mais alto que o clique em um link WAP, explicou Hohagen. Essa funcionalidade já é oferecida pelo Google nos EUA.

O diretor do Google estima que existam hoje cerca de 1,5 milhão de empresas no País capazes de realizar algum tipo de transação on-line. Todas elas são anunciantes em potencial de links patrocinados.

Ele disse não temer a concorrência de outras ferramentas de busca que venham a utilizar o modelo de links patrocinados no Brasil. “Pelo contrário: pode ajudar a divulgar o modelo. Há muito espaço para crescer”, afirmou.
